For anyone out there who prefers the Celsius scale, 100 degrees Fahrenheit is 38 degrees Celsius, and 10 degrees Fahrenheit is -12 degrees Celsius. This part of the U.S. is known for big temperature swings (we once had a storm that lowered the temperature by 25 degrees Fahrenheit in 60 seconds), but a temperature swing of 90 degrees in ten minutes is a bit excessive.
