No, Chris, don't do it! Bunkers in 1945 are dangerous!

Ashley: But what about the original Archimedes? You can't just displace him.
Dale: Ah, but that's the genius of it! So little is known about Archimedes' life, how do we know he isn't a time traveler?
2
Ashley: But even if he was a time traveler, there WAS an Archimedes, and you would be displacing him!
Dale: No, see, I was and will be Archimedes!
Ashley: But it's impossible to change history!
3
Dale: It IS possible to change history, but it's impossible for us to observe the change.
Mike: He's right. The timeline as we observe it includes all changes that have been and ever will be made.
Dale: For example, if someone went back in time and save Abraham Lincoln's life then we would already have been taught in history class that he survived his assassination attempt.
4
Ashley: So you're saying that, because Archimedes existed, you want us to make you Archimedes.
Chris: You know, Hitler existed, too.
